Conservator
for the 94 stained glass windows of the Cathedral, executed by the following
artists: Charles Connick of Boston; Paul Woodroffe of Chipping Camden,
Great Britain; Henri Ely of Nantes in Brittany, France; Nicholas Lorin
of Chartres, France; and Charles Morgan of New York. Femenella prepared
a window by window survey of the existing conditions; participated with
the design team in developing a restoration plan; prepared the final
project specifications for the stained glass and executed a number of
mock ups throughout the Cathedral. The mock ups of the protective glazing
will be sued to select the most appropriate method(s) of venting the
interstitial space. The stained glass mock ups will illustrate the level
of quality expected in the larger construction project.
